Business: Kuubz Immigration Co. — a military- and women-owned company led by Attorney Kuubz (former CBP Officer & ICE attorney) with Psychologist Mariana Hoyos, M.Psych.
 

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. This page is informational and not legal advice.

This policy applies to our website, forms, emails, live chat/WhatsApp, scheduling, payments, and services (assessments, reviews, packet prep, interview coaching, interpretation, workshops). We are not affiliated with USCIS/DHS/CBP/ICE/NVC/DoS.

2) Information We Collect

You provide:

  • Identity & contact (name, phone, email, address).

  • Immigration & civil documents (passports, visas, I-94, petitions, notices).

  • Sensitive data you choose to share (legal history, entries/exits, family details, finances, medical or trauma history for declarations/readiness).

  • Payment details (handled by processors; we don’t store full card/bank data).

  • Communications (intake answers, emails, messages, call notes).

We collect automatically:

  • Device/usage data (IP, browser, pages viewed, timestamps).

  • Cookies/SDKs for functionality, analytics, and ads (see §10).

From third parties (with consent or lawful basis):

  • Referrals, interpreters, translators, payment/scheduling tools, analytics, FOIA results, and—only if authorized—law-enforcement certifications (U/T).

3) How We Use Information

  • Deliver services (assessment, review, packet prep, coaching, interpretation).

  • Create written summaries, checklists, and cover letters/declarations you request.

  • Scheduling, billing, receipts, and customer support.

  • Security, fraud prevention, quality assurance, and recordkeeping.

  • Analytics and marketing with consent/opt-out options (lead magnets, emails).

  • Legal compliance and to establish/exercise/defend legal claims.

4) Legal Bases (GDPR if applicable)

  • Contract: to provide the services you request.

  • Legitimate Interests: secure operations, quality, limited direct marketing.

  • Consent: optional marketing, certain sensitive data uses, cookies that require consent.

  • Legal Obligation: tax/records, lawful requests.

  • Legal Claims/Vital Interests: where necessary to protect rights/safety.

5) Sharing & Disclosures

We do not sell your personal information. We share only as needed:

  • Service providers: hosting/cloud storage, scheduling (e.g., Calendly), payment (e.g., PayPal, card processor), video (e.g., Zoom), e-signature, email/SMS, secure file upload, translators/interpreters.

  • Professional partners: if you ask us to coordinate with an attorney/representative or translator.

  • Legal: to comply with law, court/agency requests, or protect our rights/users.

  • Business transfers: in a merger/acquisition, your info may transfer under the same protections.

6) Data Retention

We keep records only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal/audit requirements. Typical retention: up to 7 years from last activity, unless a longer period is required or a shorter period is granted by law. We may de-identify or securely delete earlier upon request where feasible.

7) Security

We use reasonable safeguards (TLS encryption in transit, reputable cloud providers, access controls). No system is 100% secure. Please avoid sending sensitive documents by unsecured email; use our secure upload when available.

8) Your Choices & Rights

  • Access/Update/Delete: Request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data where permitted.

  • Opt-out of marketing: Use unsubscribe links or email us.

  • Cookies: Manage in our banner or your browser settings (see §10).

  • California (CPRA) rights: know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive data; opt-out of “sale/share” (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising).

  • EU/UK: access, rectification, erasure, portability, restrict/object, and withdraw consent. You may contact an EU/UK supervisory authority.

9) Children’s Privacy

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child provided data, contact us to remove it.

10) Cookies & Tracking

We use:

  • Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand usage.

  • Advertising (e.g., Meta/Google Ads) for measurement/retargeting where allowed.

11) Messaging Tools (Email, SMS, WhatsApp)

By opting in, you agree to receive service-related messages (confirmations, reminders, document requests). Standard carrier rates apply. You can opt out anytime (reply STOP or use unsubscribe links). WhatsApp/Messenger are third-party platforms—avoid sending highly sensitive documents there.

12) International Transfers

We operate in the U.S. Your data may be processed in the U.S. or other countries with different laws. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) for EEA/UK transfers when required.

13) Third-Party Links

External links may lead to other sites with their own policies. We aren’t responsible for third-party practices.

We may update this policy periodically. The Effective Date shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted here (and, when appropriate, notified by email or banner).
