Terms & Conditions & Disclaimers

Effective Date: 23 August 2025

Business: Kuubz Immigration Co. — a military- and women-owned team led by Attorney Kuubz (former CBP Officer & ICE attorney) with licensed psychologist Mariana Hoyos, M.Psych. Bilingual EN/ES/Arabic/Aramaic.

1) Who We Are & What We Do

We provide immigration assessment, preparation, review, coaching, and interpretation services. Unless a separate written engagement agreement is signed, services are non-representation (no attorney-of-record appearance). USCIS/DOS forms are free at official government sites; we charge for guidance and preparation.

2) No Legal Advice / No Attorney-Client Relationship

All website content, downloads, emails, DMs, webinars, and discovery calls are general information, not legal advice. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after conflicts are checked and you sign an engagement agreement describing scope, fees, and jurisdiction.

3) Scope, Licensing & Jurisdiction

We handle federal immigration matters. We do not provide state-law advice. Representation (if offered) occurs only where the attorney is authorized. We are not affiliated with USCIS, DHS, CBP, ICE, NVC, or the U.S. Department of State, and we cannot guarantee outcomes or expedite cases.

4) Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide complete, accurate, and timely information and documents; disclose prior filings, entries, arrests/charges, and orders; review drafts; and meet deadlines. Incomplete materials pause timelines. You are responsible for government fees, medical exams, translations, postage, and third-party costs.

5) Deliverables & Timelines

We aim to provide written assessments within 3–5 business days and complete prep within mutually agreed timelines. Government processing times and interview dates are outside our control and may change without notice. Prior results do not guarantee similar outcomes.

6) Fees, Payments & Refunds

  • Payments: Collected online (e.g., card, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle). Processor fees retained by third parties may be non-refundable.

  • Assessments ($129): Full refund if canceled within 24 hours and before work begins; 50% refund after intake begins but before delivery; non-refundable after delivery.

  • Form Review ($99–$149): Refundable until work starts; non-refundable once review begins. One round of post-edit check included.

  • Full Packet Prep ($449): 25% non-refundable after intake is scheduled; remaining 75% refunded pro-rata by milestones (intake, drafts, evidence assembly, final review).

  • Interview Coaching: Full refund ≥24h; 50% credit 12–24h; non-refundable <12h/no-show.

  • Rush Add-On (+$79): Non-refundable once accepted; if we miss the 24–48h window due to our error, the rush fee is refunded.

  • Interpretation: Full refund ≥24h; 50% refund 6–24h; non-refundable <6h/no-show. In-person travel/venue costs are non-refundable once incurred.
To request a refund, email [support@yourdomain.com] with name, service, date, and reason. Approved refunds post to the original method within 5–10 business days.

7) Communications, Privacy & Security

Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. Do not send confidential information until engagement is confirmed. We use reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security. By booking, you consent to email/SMS updates about your service; you may opt out anytime.

8) Interpretation & Mental-Health Notes

Interpretation is community/consultative unless otherwise agreed; not court-certified by default. “Emotional readiness” coaching is educational, not psychotherapy, and does not create a therapist-patient relationship. If you are in crisis, call 988 (U.S.) or local emergency services.

9) Intellectual Property

All site content, templates, checklists, graphics, and trainings are protected by IP laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use purchased templates for your own case. You may not resell, share, or redistribute our materials without written permission.

10) Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the site or services (e.g., unlawful, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringing activity; scraping or reverse engineering). We may suspend access for violations.

11) Third-Party Links & Vendors

External links are provided for convenience; we do not control third-party sites or vendors. Any referrals (e.g., certified translation) are optional, independent providers with their own terms.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kuubz Immigration Co., its owners, and team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from the site or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

13) No Warranties

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

14) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kuubz Immigration Co. from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the site/services or breach of these terms.

15) Governing Law, Venue & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas (venue: El Paso County), unless superseded by applicable federal law. Parties agree to good-faith negotiation before any formal action. If arbitration/mediation is desired, add: Binding arbitration under AAA rules seated in El Paso, Texas. (Optional—consult counsel.)

16) Changes to this Page

We may update these Terms & Conditions/Disclaimer at any time. The “Effective Date” reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site or services constitutes acceptance of changes.
