Refund  & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 23 August 2025


Who we are: Military- and women-owned immigration support led by Attorney Kuubz (former CBP/ICE) and Psychologist Mariana Hoyos. We provide flat-fee assessments, reviews, packet preparation, interview coaching, and interpretation. USCIS/DOS forms and government fees are not included and are never refundable. No outcome guarantees.

1) General terms (apply to all purchases)

  • How to request: Email support@[yourdomain].com with your name, service, purchase date, and reason.

  • Timing for refunds: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (PayPal, Cash App, card, or Zelle repayment) within 5–10 business days.

  • Processor fees: Third-party processing fees that are not returned to us by the processor are not refundable.

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule once at no charge ≥24 hours before your appointment.

  • No-shows / late cancels (<24h): The session is non-refundable.

  • Scope: Refunds cover our service fees only. Government filing fees, shipping/courier, translations/certifications by third parties are non-refundable.

2) By service

A) Immigration Assessment — $129

  • Full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of purchase and before we begin work (no intake completed, no documents reviewed).

  • 50% refund if you cancel after intake begins but before we deliver the written assessment.

  • Non-refundable once the written assessment is delivered.

  • Includes one follow-up clarification email; additional consults billed separately.

B) Form Review — $99 / $129 / $149

  • Full refund until we confirm “work started” (email timestamp).

  • Non-refundable after work begins (we allocate reviewer and start auditing forms/evidence).

  • Includes one round of edit checks after you revise. Additional rounds billed.

C) Full Packet Prep (Preparer Package) — $449

  • A 25% project initiation portion becomes non-refundable once intake is scheduled.

  • Pro-rata refunds on the remaining 75% based on milestones:

    1. Intake completed (25%)

    2. Forms drafted (additional 25%)

    3. Evidence organized + coversheet/index prepared (additional 25%)

    4. Final attorney review (final 25%)

  • If you cancel, we refund any unearned portion and provide completed drafts/notes to date.

D) Interview Coaching — (per session)

  • Full refund if canceled ≥24 hours before the appointment.

  • 50% credit (to rebook) if canceled 12–24 hours before.

  • Non-refundable for <12 hours or no-show.

  • If we must reschedule, you may choose a new time or a full refund.

E) Rush Add-On — + $79

  • Non-refundable once accepted and a rush slot is assigned.

  • If we miss the 24–48 hr delivery window due to our error, we refund the rush fee (the base service terms still apply).

F) Cover Letters / Declarations — $109 each

  • Full refund before drafting begins.

  • Non-refundable once we start drafting (outline built or interview held).

G) Interpretation Services (EN/ES/AR/Aramaic)

  • Full refund if canceled ≥24 hours before the session.

  • 50% refund if canceled 6–24 hours prior.

  • Non-refundable for <6 hours or no-show.

  • In-person bookings: any travel or venue costs are non-refundable once incurred.

  • Community interpretation only unless otherwise arranged (not court-certified by default).

3) Changes, delays & force majeure

  • If client documents are incomplete, timelines pause until materials arrive.

  • If we must delay, we will offer a new timeline or refund for any unearned portion (and the rush fee if applicable).

  • Events beyond our control (platform outages, emergencies, disasters) may extend timelines; we’ll notify you and work in good faith to complete or refund the unearned portion.

4) Chargebacks & disputes

Please contact us first—we resolve most issues within 2 business days. Unauthorized chargebacks may be contested with documentation of delivery and timestamps.

5) Representation & disclaimers

Purchasing a service does not create an attorney-client relationship or attorney-of-record status unless you sign a separate engagement agreement for representation. We provide preparation, review, and coaching services; no guarantees of USCIS/DOS outcomes.

6) Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico (venue: Otero County), unless superseded by applicable federal law.
